ProAmpac has announced an expansion of its pet food packaging range, introducing innovative solutions designed to meet the growing demands of the market. The new offerings include the QUADFLEX LFQ quad-seal pouch and PRO-EVO SOS multiwall paper bags, catering to a variety of pet food products such as dry kibble, treats, freeze-dried items, retort packaging, and pet litter.

The QUADFLEX LFQ pouch is specifically designed for medium to high-weight pet food applications, accommodating kibble packs of up to 40 pounds. This pouch emphasizes recyclability and features multiple reclose options, aligning with sustainability goals in the packaging industry.

In addition, ProAmpac’s PRO-EVO SOS Bags are multiwall paper bags that provide grease resistance and a robust structure, making them suitable for various pet food categories. These bags also offer high-quality printing for retail display, enhancing product visibility on shelves.

ProAmpac’s expanded portfolio aims to support brands in delivering effective packaging solutions that meet performance standards while standing out in a competitive landscape. The company plans to showcase these advancements at the upcoming Petfood Forum 2026, scheduled for April 27-29 at the Kansas City Convention Center in Missouri.

Nicole Cocuzzi, ProAmpac’s product development director, emphasized the importance of the Petfood Forum as a platform to demonstrate the company’s ongoing evolution alongside the pet food market. She noted that ProAmpac’s deep material science expertise and commitment to sustainability enable the company to provide a comprehensive range of packaging formats.

This expansion follows ProAmpac’s recent acquisition of TC Transcontinental Packaging (TCP) for $1.51 billion, a deal first announced in December 2025. TCP operates 25 facilities and employs approximately 3,500 individuals, specializing in extrusion, printing, lamination, converting, and recycling, further enhancing ProAmpac’s capabilities in the packaging sector.
