Mondi Partners with Büromodel to Enhance Packaging Efficiency and Sustainability

Mondi, a leader in sustainable packaging solutions, has joined forces with furniture manufacturer Büromodel to create a custom corrugated packaging system for shipping acoustic office cabins across Europe. This innovative approach has resulted in a 20% reduction in operational packing costs for Büromodel.

The shift from traditional wooden and plywood crates to a tailored corrugated solution addresses significant health and safety concerns while improving product protection during transportation. The new packaging design mitigates mould issues previously encountered during sea freight, enhancing overall logistics performance.

Key benefits of the transition include more efficient storage utilization and a stackable design that simplifies assembly and packing processes. The corrugated packaging integrates smoothly into Büromodel’s existing operations without necessitating additional investments.
